A lot of great artists fail to make it big due to one single point : marketing. Inadequate marketing, or lack of proper marketing can break your career and it seriously does not matter, in these silly days, if you are great artist or not. The problem does not lie on the creative side of the work. As an artist, a photographer or any other artist for that matter, you might be very creative, might produce work that would be considered excellent at all times. But if you fail to market yourself properly, you would find that it becomes hard to make your work famous amongst others. Ebay, however, stands as a good starting point for many artists. You can see a lot of document photography, works of modern art etc. being sold on eBay. Although many people think this is not right, because it devalues art and its value, in this online world, eBay holds a great value for artist marketing. If you don’t mind selling your work for a little less value, then you can think about the great benefits this mode offers like your work of art gets a lot of views and publicity plus you make money with every sale.
